This relieves grip on the knee tendon, while reducing the force of traction on the lower leg, thereby reducing pain. The pad is made of a skin-friendly elastic polymer. The semi-rigid capsule in the front ensures even pressure distribution. An anatomical fit, combined with the pad material, enables the knee brace to stay in place when walking.
