It requires the use of a stethoscope to detect Korotkoff noises: the pressure read on the dial as soon as the noises appear will be the systolic blood pressure, and the pressure read when the noises disappear will be the arterial pressure.
2-in-1 hose system: The 60 mm manometer is insensitive to overpressure and treated against corrosion. The patented 2-in-1 tubing system has only one external tube, but offers all the advantages of a double-tube system: the air supply caused by pressure on the bulb is first directed to the cuff, then transmitted, attenuated, to the manometer. Pressure build-up is therefore smooth, protecting the mechanism. The ergonomic bulb is particularly powerful for rapid inflation.
