Support stockings

Support stockings are designed to improve comfort and reduce leg fatigue. However, they are not considered to be medical stockings, as they have no proven therapeutic value. They do, however, have the advantage of being less expensive and more aesthetically pleasing than medical stockings. The characteristics of support stockings are generally expressed in denier (40 to 28 Den). Denier is an international unit used to express the fineness of a silk or artificial silk yarn. The number of denier indicates the weight in grams of 9,000 meters of yarn (Td). Denier is not a pressure unit!
