German shoemaker Johann Adam Birkenstock founded the Birkenstock company in 1774, and a little over a century later, in 1902, Konrad Birkenstock developed what was to be the first draft of the footbed support, which served as the basis for the development of Birkenstock orthopedic products. Our bandagisterie-orthopédie Brasseur has been distributing Birkenstock sandals for over 40 years, and each year introduces a new collection of products.
